Obi-makura. This type is wrapped in a gauze string to keep it in place and make it easy to tie.
It is the shorter type (~20 cm), allowing the otaiko-yama, the top of the otaiko (drum), to sag a little, which some people consider more pleasing than having a perfectly straight otaiko.

The makura is available in pink however since the gauze sting/cover is white the pink color is hardly visible.

On request, larger and smaller sizes are available, including longer gauze covers. The color of the different sizes depends on availability. Contact us for a custom order.
