ヴィンテージ品で素材もとても良く色も鮮やかです。
少しシミがあります。

Vintage orange meisen kimono with crayon-like flowery designs. The orange base is a plain weave silk with a nice vibrant shine. The kimono features a design of geometric shapes, some smaller green and yellow shapes, and some larger black shapes filled with flowers that look like they were drawn using colored crayons. The design is applied to the warp and the weft threads (heiyo gasuri). The lining is in orange and red silk.

Material is in very good condition, the colors are very vibrant. There are some spots/stains.

Meisen refers to a weaving/production technique where the design is transferred to the threads using stencils before weaving. This technique optimized the production process and allowed to create affordable kimonos with colorful and complex designs. Meisen became popular in the early twentieth century. Although the designs are stencil applied they keep the distinctive feel of kasuri (ikat) woven splash patterns. In general Meisen kimono look more modern as a result of the bold designs and colors.
